What this device is for.
Clover Go is an app and a small reader rather than a terminal. The app runs on an iOS or Android device you already own; the reader adds chip and contactless acceptance, including NFC wallets, and clips onto a dock if the device needs to sit on a counter.
It is the lightest way to start taking cards, and the right answer where a business has no fixed address to put a terminal in.
What it does, straight.
- Works on the phone you have A free app on iOS or Android, with the reader adding chip and contactless.

- Take payment without a connection Cards, contactless, checks and cash can be accepted with or without an internet connection.
- Real-time sales tracking Sales visible from anywhere rather than only at the till.
- Roles, permissions and 2FA Fingerprint login, two-factor authentication and encrypted transactions.

The rooms this one is usually chosen for.
-
Mobile and on-site services
Trades, call-outs, deliveries and anything invoiced at the door.
-
Markets, pop-ups and events
No counter, no cabling and nothing to install.
-
A backup payment point
Something in a drawer for the day the main terminal has a problem.
Not sure this is the one?
Say what the room is and what happens around the payment. That narrows it to two options faster than a specification sheet does.
