What this device is for.
The VP300 is a PIN pad rather than a terminal: it sits on the customer side of the counter and handles the payment and the PIN, with a touchscreen and an included stylus for digital signature capture.
It is PCI PTS 5.x certified and takes swipe, chip and contactless, which is the point of putting one in front of the customer at all.
What it does, straight.
- Customer-facing PIN entry PIN entered by the customer on their own device rather than on the merchant terminal.
- Touchscreen with stylus A stylus is included for signature capture.
- Digital signature capture Signatures taken on screen.
- Swipe, tap and dip Full card acceptance at the customer position.
- Built-in customer feedback rating A feedback prompt at the point of payment.

The rooms this one is usually chosen for.
-
Counters where the customer keeps their card
PIN entry that never crosses the counter.
-
Retail lanes with an existing till
Adds customer-facing payment to a system that already runs the sale.
Not sure this is the one?
Say what the room is and what happens around the payment. That narrows it to two options faster than a specification sheet does.
