What this device is for.
The VP800 is Valor's all-in-one counter device: an 8-inch portrait display for staff and a 5-inch landscape display facing the customer, on an eight-core Android platform with a high-speed printer and a vertical chip card slot.
The second screen is the point. The customer sees what is being charged and completes the payment themselves, which is what a single-screen terminal cannot do.
What it does, straight.

The paperwork, before you ask for it.
Published specification sheets and guides for this device. Each opens in a new tab, and the size is shown before you commit to the download.
The rooms this one is usually chosen for.
-
Counters that want a customer screen
The customer sees the amount and completes the payment on their own display.
-
Retail and quick service
One device instead of a terminal and a separate PIN pad.
-
Dual pricing programs
Card and cash prices shown to the customer directly.
Not sure this is the one?
Say what the room is and what happens around the payment. That narrows it to two options faster than a specification sheet does.
